Dear Artists and Fans, since the start of Arena voting for the - TopicsExpress

Dear Artists and Fans, since the start of Arena voting for the 140 national winners, you have given us lots of feedback concerning problems with this new voting feature. As always, we take your feedback very seriously and have worked relentlessly to fix the bugs. At the same time, we want to help you better understand the concept of the Arena. We want a fair contest giving all contestants an equal chance to win. That’s why the Arena displays all contestants equally often around the world. Arena duels are chosen randomly. You might find your favorite artist in the first duel rounds, sometimes in the middle or maybe only in the last matchups. If you find your favorite artist only in the last duels, some other Global Rockstar fan will find him or her in the first duels. While this might be a hassle for some artists and for daily voters, Global Rockstar doesnt want an artist to spend hours each day voting for him-or-herself. We also dont want an artists most dedicate fans spending all their time in the Arena just to vote for him or her over and over. Global Rockstar wants the millions of music lovers from all around the world to discover new artists and to give their real opinion of what they like. Some pople might come only once on the website and vote for 20 duels. Even so, the more people who do this, the more likely it is that the results reflect worldwide opinion. We’re sure that everyone interested in a fair music competition would agree that the winner should be the one who really attracts the most fans and votes. You all can help us to reach this goal: Ask all FB-page administrators that you know (from media outlets to universities, or even brands that are not related to music) to integrate the FB arena in their FB page and to promote it. You’ll see, it will work and all artists that really touch the heart of the masses will rise to the top. In the end, we’re all a big family of music lovers and musicians. There’s nothing wrong with letting fellow musicians compete in duels before yours gets its turn. We hope youll agree that its important that all voters – even those who already prefer one artist – listen to and vote on a broad variety of contestants. After all, what’s the sense of a competition if you don’t know all the competitors? Other music platforms might concentrate only on direct voting on profile pages. But what’s the result? Voters need only go to one URL and click to vote their favorite artist, without even listening to others. Worse still, artists can form alliances to gain advantage by rigging votes. Weve created a new and fair method for music competition – one where listeners are asked to expand their horizons and discover new talent. We’d be happy if you joined us in our effort. Let’s start something together to give equal chances to musicians from all around the world! Peace & Love The Global Rockstar Team
