Dear Arvind Kejriwal and Mayank Gandhi, My suggestions for - TopicsExpress

Dear Arvind Kejriwal and Mayank Gandhi, My suggestions for participating in the Elections during next three years, are as follows: Put up candidates only on those seats where candidate is capable & confident of winning and party organisation is in place up to booth level. Otherwise continue to provide social service from outside as loosing will certainly demoralise all. No one is ready to listen to looser while winner always finds many sympathisers and supporters. Let me share with you that after Loksabha election results hardly any one is ready to discuss with me about AAP even though I am aware that I command great respect in our community Patan Jain Samaj in Mumbai, having successfully won all the community elections always with the highest votes in last 25 yrs. I am sure all AAP volunteers and supporters are facing similar situations. In a way you can now identify whore real supporter of AAP concept. Except for Delhi and Punjab the AAP has lost considerable support base at all other places after Loksabha elections. Let us accept ground reality. There is saying, Do not bite more than you can chew, I understand that APP is a new young party which lacked experience and as such it was bound to make mistakes and it did. The mistake AAP made was that it bit more than it could chew and the result was suffocation. Let us not repeat the mistake. This I am writing to you in detail because I saw in U- tube 4 hr video of Maharashtra volunteers meet in Mumbai on Sunday 22nd June where Mayank Gandhis view against participating in forth coming Maharashtra assembly election, was in minority. Please do not take election decision on the basis of majority. I request let us all together develop proper perception among enthusiastic AAP volunteers and supporters for the participation in the election. The party leaders should always be conscious that powerful vested interests are doing everything in their power to see that AAP is discredited and that it fails miserably. After Loksabha elections public perception has wrongly developed that AAP is power hungry and they are not different than others. Now AAP will have to work hard to change the perception with proper actions and prove in the eyes of the public that AAP is different. We should always remember our aim is to change the system by implementing SWARAJ and Janlokpal. For this we should keep patience and continue to educate people about AAP concept with passion. Let me conclude by clarifying that I am not saying that AAP should dilute or give up any of its wonderful planks or principles like rooting out corruption or transparency, but should relentlessly pursue its goals in a manner that society will perceive as less strident and more constructive. In couple of years public will realise that If, they want something positive to happen to the life of masses, system should be changed by implementing AAPs Manifesto and for that AAP should survive and become strong. With warm regards Dinesh Rasiklal Shah
