Dear Australian Classification Board I want to call your organisation a joke, but a joke is something you laugh at and there is definitely nothing funny about what you people are doing! I don’t mind if you’re going to ban games like “State of Decay”, “Saints Row IV” or any other form of entertainment because you believe it’s too violent or causes real world violence in our community. But how about a bit of freaking consistency? We have religious texts that have been the cause of millions of deaths, acts of violence and hatred over the centuries. Real numbers, statistics and lives lost as a direct result of the Bible, Quran and anything written by Richard Dawkins but you’ve never considered banning any of these forms of entertainment? (I refer to them as forms of entertainment because I still have faith in humanity and don’t believe there is anyone stupid enough to actually live their lives by these texts, perhaps it’s naïve of me, but some hope is better than none). Yet you would refuse classification for a game just because it has a weapon called the “Alien Anal Probe”? I don’t completely blame you. I know you’re under a lot of pressure from special interest groups, overly sensitive people and cunts who get offended too easily (probably just then at my use of the word ‘cunt’ as well… when in reality it’s just a word to describe part of the female anatomy). I don’t get it, are we going to spend our lives tip-toeing around people who can’t hack it, quashing the slightest hint of humour, originality or fun just because they hate life so much? People who complain every time someone farts on TV or a cartoon character says a bad word. These people have already ruined Television for us, and who are the sole reason why The Simpsons have sucked balls for the last 13 years. Maybe it’s these people who are the ones who need an “Alien Anal Probe” to remove the stick up their ass! Let us decide what we want to play, watch, read or listen to. If people want to complain, show them where the god damn ‘off’ button is on the remote!!!
