Dear Bidders~ I know with the holidays everyone is pushed to the limit...but I want you to pray about this! Evelyn Blalock and her husband ,of whom many of you may know... are Cartersville residents for many many many years...now in their early 70s ...has been robbed. They stole her tree, layaway of gifts she been paying on for months for her four grand kids and her mom died when she was 14, they stole her only possession of hers, the wedding ring set! She quit her job two years ago to take care of her husband who had a stroke. THESE folks are the most humble and prideful people...they would NeVER let anyone, including their kids know they have had a hard time! They have worked their entire lives here in Cartersville . Ms. Evelyn is what we Christians call a intercessor...she prays for our community and those the Lord tells her to. They are blessing to so many and I want them to know that JESUS has their tiniest cares in HIS hands! Im not asking for money or gifts. She had insurance and after the deductible, she got 500.00 to replace the gifts. We got her a tree and some ornaments. BUT I found out they been eating Mayo sandwiches for long time so she could pay on the layaway for her grandkids. She does not buy them things above her means, but little things she tries to fit in her budget! I want to make sure they have groceries to last through the winter...in case we get a freeze, I want to know they have more than Mayo sandwiches. Im getting the staple items..flour, cornmeal, lard, pinto and butter beans, butter,milk, oj, bread, P&J, eggs, toilet paper , rice and stuff like that. My request is for my desire to add 2 packs of chicken, beef (roast), bacon, sausage, cheese.....IF YOU ARE AT THE GROCERY STORE AND CAN AFFORD TO PICK UP A PACK...AND THE LORD LAYS IT ON YOUR HEART...PLEASE HELP ME HELP THEM! THATS ALL IM ASKING FOR. They can break the meat down to smaller portions for the two of them and make it last through the winter. They have no clue I am doing this and ask that you dont tell them If you know ....I do not want to shame them or make them feel like they are taking a hand out. xoxoxo THANK YOU!
