Dear Blenheim drivers, I understand many of you are automobile - TopicsExpress

Dear Blenheim drivers, I understand many of you are automobile challenged. It must be hard to drive safely when there are no traffic lights in town, and most of the regions traffic officers spend all day chatting up bar maids at the East Coast Inn instead of doing their actual job. Therefore, I have compiled this list of handy tips: 1) its considered inappropriate to verbally abuse other drivers when you pull out in front of them. 2) its illegal to talk on your cellphone while navigating a round about and abusing other motorists. 3) the right of way means the other motorist gets to go before you. Pulling out in front of them will cause a crash. 4) that little plastic handle on the right of your steering wheel is called anindicator. You use it to signal your intention to turn, especially when you intend to pull in front of another car which already has the right of way. Appropriate use of the indicator can prevent a crash. But more importantly, it will prevent other drivers from leaping onto your bonnet, smashing your windscreen with a hockey stick, and beating you to your ignorant death. I hope this helps you to become a safer, happier motorist.
