Dear Bloco Members past and present here is a Bloco Christmas gift for you! The festive season is nearly upon us and we’ve been booked for the markets and the lantern parade. These gigs are our best opportunity to attact new members so we need to make them count. We really want to show Tameside that we can put the Cuban into Christmas and for drumming, that means the more the merrier (and louder!). We’d like to get a great turnout at practise over the next few weeks so we’ve got a band to be proud of. As a thank you for your commitment and dedication, for all members past, present and future, the session on Wednesday 3rd of December will be free of charge. We’ll be using the session to enjoy rhythms old and new, so if you’ve not been in a while you’ll easily get back into the swing of things. We know the nights are getting dark, cold and rainy, and it’s easy after a hard day’s work to close your curtains and put the kettle on, but if you can muster the energy to get down to the Grafton we will make the sunshine for ourselves, you’ll always be glad you came :o) See you all soon !
