Dear Brothers and Sisters, WE HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT ALLAH (SWT) CREATED THE HAVEN AND THE EARTH IN SIX DAYS. MOST OF US WILL HAVE TO BE CONTEN WITH ONLY BEING ABLE TO SEE AND APPRECIATE THE EARTH FROM THE GROUND LEVEL. ALLAH (SWT) SAID IN THE QUR’AN IN THIS VERSE: Surat 7 Al-A`rāf (The Heights) - سورة الأعراف Sahih International Indeed, your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He covers the night with the day, [another night] chasing it rapidly; and [He created] the sun, the moon, and the stars, subjected by His command. Unquestionably, His is the creation and the command; blessed is Allah, Lord of the Worlds. [Surah 7 Al-A’raf, Verse 7:54] (You can also find Allah (Swt) confirmation regarding his creation of the Haven and the Earth in SIX DAYS in the following Qur’an verses as well: [10:3], [11:7], [25:59], [32:4], [50:38] and [57:4]) BUT FOR SOME OF THOSE PEOPLE (SUCH AS THE ASTRONAUTS) WHO WERE PRIVILEDGED ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO GO UP INTO SPACE AND THEN SEE THE EARTH FROM SPACE DOWNWARD, THE EXPERIENCE WAS BEYOND DESCRIPTION AND HUMAN COMPREHENSION. THIS IS WHERE YOU WILL REALLY APPRECIATE THE REAL POWER AND SUPREMACY OF ALLAH (SWT) AND MARVEL AT HIS CREATION UP CLOSE. ALL THE ASTRONAUTS who had RETURNED TO EARTH had some form of Life Changing experiences in the way they looked at their own Lives and the Earth BEFORE and AFTER they returned from the space trip. Watch this video clip taken from Space on how our Earth looks like from space and marvel at the beauty and majesty of Allah’s creations of the Universe. After watching this video, reflect briefly upon what Allah (Swt) had told us that this so called beautiful Earth and everything in it will ALL eventually be destroyed. Allah (swt) told us that this world is a temporary enjoyment and an illusion and that the Hereafter is much better and permanent, meaning that Paradise are ONLY for those who had done good and are successful. If Earth is already so majestic and good and can be seen now and marvelled at, can you just imagine the magnificence of Paradise which will be a reward for those who are successful? Allah (Swt) said in the following verses: Surat 40 Ghāfir (The Forgiver) - سورة غافر Sahih International O my people, this worldly life is only [temporary] enjoyment, and indeed, the Hereafter - that is the home of [permanent] settlement. [Surah 40 Ghafir, Verse 40:39] Surat 13 Ar-Ra`d (The Thunder) - سورة الرعد Sahih International Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]. And they rejoice in the worldly life, while the worldly life is not, compared to the Hereafter, except [brief] enjoyment. [Surah 13 Ar-Ra’d, Verse 13:26] Surat 16 An-Naĥl (The Bee) - سورة النحل Sahih International And it will be said to those who feared Allah, What did your Lord send down? They will say, [That which is] good. For those who do good in this world is good; and the home of the Hereafter is better. And how excellent is the home of the righteous – [Surah 16 An-Nahl, Verse 16:30] And mankind has been forewarned by Allah (Swt) that the Day will come when this Earth and everything in it will be destroyed and those who are defiant or had not feared Allah (Swt) will face the torment of their punishment. This verse in the Qur’an is very clear and explicit as Allah (Swt) does not mince HIS word when HE warn his Slaves of the Day of Judgement where they will get their due recompense for what they used to do here in this world. Surat 46 Al-Aĥqāf (The Wind-Curved Sandhills) - سورة الأحقاف Sahih International So be patient, [O Muhammad], as were those of determination among the messengers and do not be impatient for them. It will be - on the Day they see that which they are promised - as though they had not remained [in the world] except an hour of a day. [This is] notification. And will [any] be destroyed except the defiantly disobedient people? [Surah 46 Al-Ahqaf, Verse 46:35] So my Dear Brothers and Sisters, fear Allah (Swt), do as you have been decreed in the Qur’an and be amongst those successful ones who shall reside in Paradise forever. May Allah (Swt) Guide Us All to the Right Path. Ameen.
