Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, The Harvard Extension Cultural Studies Club is hosting a re-enactment of the Black Mass, a satanic ritual which parodies the Catholic mass and potentially desecrates the Eucharist. It is scheduled for this evening May 12th in Memorial Hall . Reports vary as to whether a consecrated host will be used. This is a direct attack on Jesus and the holy Mass and a serious and hateful affront to Catholics and all Christians. Our response is to call on the assistance of the Holy Spirit and turn to God in prayer. “Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me. Psalm 50:15 Tonight at St. Mary’s the Holy Rosary will be prayed at 7:00pm at the Marian Grotto and then there will be a Holy Hour of reparation to Jesus’ Sacred heart from 7:30-8:30pm in the church. We encourage everyone to pray with us during this time! (I have attached some helpful prayer for those who may not be able to join us at St. Mary’s but would like to join us in prayer.
