Dear CGR,Ive been in a 2 year relationship with a guy I love so much.He truely loves me,goes out of his way for me,he makes me happy &we plan on getting married,but the problem is.My mother doesnt accept our relationship,because hes indian!!She says she will never accept an indian!!She doesnt even want him in her house!!He keeps asking me,why doesnt your mother like me?Why doesnt she want me there?And I dont know what to tell him anymore.Ive tried talking to her about it and she turns it into a fight.Im trying to get some answers.Why doesnt she like him?Is it really his race?But she didnt even give him a chance to get to know him for the amazing person he is beyond his race.How will we ever get married one day without her blessing?Its gotten so bad that I feel like moving far away from her.I know I found the man for me I just know it and I really dont care what colour his skin is!I love him,but I feel like my mother is racist and I mean its not apartheid anymore.
