We are outraged by the Lancets publication of such a one-sided and biased assessment of the complex situation in Israel and Gaza. Rather than directly attacking the content of the letter, we decided that the most appropriate way to respond would be by highlighting the authors failure to disclose their many political and financial conflicts of interest. We have finalized a letter of response (attached to this email), and will be submitting this to the Lancet within 24 hours. We are hoping to gather as many signatures of support for this letter from Canadian physicians by July 24th at 9:00 PM EST.
