Dear Chicco USA Were eager to see the Key Fits be great options for moms and dads who travel without the base -- hopping in and out of taxis or friends cars, using rental cars on vacation, etc -- especially since you have such lovely lightweight, travel-friendly strollers. We know change is sometimes slow; it was only after asking Graco Childrens Products on multiple occasions over several years that they allowed the European routing path on their Snug Ride 35 (Classic Connect). To some this may seem like a minor change - but for us this was major as it took a seat that, like yours, installs well with the base and upped the ante by allowing it to install securely without the base in nearly any car. We think that every infant seat in the US should have a European routing path to allow parents to install the seat easily and securely without the base. Were especially hopeful about the Key Fit as its sold in a nearly identical version in Europe... except that the European carrier has a European belt path.
