Dear Clients, colleagues and friends, For the last 38 years, The Epilepsy Centre has delivered exceptional services and provided support to people living with epilepsy and their families. That is our prime mission and that will continue to execute our vision for the future. Mark Francis has decided to resign to pursue a new direction with his career. I want to applaud Mark, for the dedicated work that he has provided to all of us over the last nine years in his role as Client Services Manager. We are truly grateful for the professional expertise he has provided and we will continue our friendship and contact with Mark. I am pleased to advise that our Social Worker, Cathryn Obst, has been appointed Client Services Manager. Cathryn has considerable expertise and experience and she is dedicated to the epilepsy cause. She is now leading and reforming our Client Services team. We are in the process of recruiting additional Client Services staff including Registered Nurses and ask for your patience with any delays that you might experience with our service delivery. We request that you log your non urgent needs and be assured that we will address them in a timely manner with our available resources. The future is exciting and we have new Youth programs commencing and other plans to expand our service delivery. Our vison is to provide a medical hub which will assist families with broad access. We will continue to operate our Epilepsy Clinics at major Hospitals where there is need and hope to establish an Epilepsy Clinic north of the city to enable us to provide counselling, support and education to the northern suburbs and rural areas.
