Dear Colleagues, This page belongs to the members and supporters of the Libertarian Party of Virginia. To those people, and those people alone, I would like to pose a question. For the past several weeks, the LPVA has been extremely tolerant with Republican Party operatives who have come to our page and posted what is little more than Republican Party propaganda. Can you imagine a Republican Party Facebook page that would be so tolerant of Libertarians making similar comments on it? A week after the election, and flying directly and willfully ignorantly in the face of a volume of evidence to the contrary, we *still* have Republican shills who stubbornly refuse to read any of the links we have supplied to answer their concerns. They continue to regurgitate the mindless Republican propaganda canards that Democrats put Sarvis up to steal votes from Cuccinelli, and that Sarvis only stole Cuccinelli votes. One of our ideological allies on gun rights, the Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL) certainly didnt want to hear from their members who were voting for Sarvis. They deleted all of our posts and comments to that effect (several LP members have stated they will not be renewing with VCDL after being ordered to sit down at the back of the bus in this manner). So do we owe these people a platform on our own page? So here is the poll I need YOU to answer: Do you want Republican agitprop on YOUR Libertarian Party page, or should we begin deleting it going forward? I will give this about 48 hours for your responses. If you want Republican propaganda deleted, say something like Delete it!; if you want them to have a forum, Keep it!; and if you dont care one way or the other, Dont care! PLEASE NOTE: Only comments from LP members will remain with this article. Republicans have no say whatsoever on what LP members decide. Anyone who wishes to comment, but I will be checking the membership status of those who do, and those who are not current members will have their comment on this article deleted. If you do not wish to say anything publicly, just send this page a private message and well see it.
