Bangladesh-American Center is a civic institution for common good. Since it’s inception the Center has been our Bangladeshi-American communities’ critical infrastructure that has been fostering the continuous growth of our heritage in North America for all people. As a donor and volunteer let us reflect the unconditional benefits that the Center is providing even before its completion of the main building through the Bangla Pathshala, BAC Clinic, picnic, Eksushe February, cultural programs, sports activities and even for a large community gathering i.e. Eid prayer with over 1500 community members. It gives us profound joy and moment of satisfaction when over 1500 community members come to the center for an event and to meet & greet friends they have not seen in years. Over time our center has been becoming one of the center piece of our community. Our community members have been using the facility during the construction phases - which is a “reflection” of your donations at work. A true reflection that YOU have made a difference. Your contribution is serving this great community a comprehensive good-deed platform that offers peace, love and harmony to unite people regardless of their socioeconomic differences via Bangladesh Association and Bangladesh-American Center facility. Quick Bangladesh-American Center update: 1. Phase 1 has been completed 2. Phase 2 has started 3. Civil/land development and outside Stucco will be our focus next as we have 4 more phases to go How do we get to the complete the project? 1. Currently we have $152,289.51 in Bangladesh-American Center Account 2. A donor from our community came forward to match up to $500,000 of your donation. So if we can raise $500,000 we will receive another $500,000. So total will be $1 million to complete remaining 4 phases such as Civil/land development, electrical, air conditioning, interior work, floorings and exterior stucco for our 13,000 SF building to get our occupancy certificate. 3. We Sept, 2014 we have started our new fundraising campaign for everyone to come forward. a. If the month of Sept we have received commitment for $50,000 donations. We need to focus on raising $450,000. b. If 450 of you come forward with $1000 donation we can achieve our goals quickly. c. If 1000 donors come forward with $450 we can also achieve our goals d. Many cannot not afford such large amount ($450,$500,$1000). So we will accept any donations so everyone can feel ownership for us to achieve our goal. e. We do not accept CASH donations. Cash has no address to issue receipt. Please donate by check or certified funds.
