Dear Community Members, There has been a generous activity happening across India. That is in Karnataka, Seemandhra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Maharastra. My observation is that many of us are thinking in the same lines to uplift the quality of life of our community people. It is painful to see our community woman working across a roadside whilst her child spends time at the same place. Many of us may have been in that situation and fortunately our eyes have now been wide open. There is a general desire to contribute some efforts for the welfare of the community. This is the golden chance to come together and float your views and ideas. Being organised can save many of ours time and time could be used efficiently. Many of us may not be comfortable in participating in protests or agitations due to many compelling reasons but we can make sure those who have done so their efforts do not go waste. Let us connect with each and every associations and discuss what works and what does not work. For this to happen we need to have a democratic association at national level which can facilitate the activities. There are ways to raise funds and make the organisation a self dependent. Organisation can create jobs for intellectuals from the community with view to protect the deprived members of our community. If we are organised and provide attention with in our limitations, we can see ourselves as one among the equals of the society. We can take a pride in doing so. Regards Dr Deepak Megeri
