Dear DK friends ~ For the 2014 edition of Deggi Daaj International - Festival of Drumsets and Dance in Dakar, our wonderful new manager Mathilde and I would like to invite a young ambitious Senegalese with confident spoken English and Wolof to join the team as an Intern of Communications Assistance. We are seeking someone who comes with a personal recommendation from you : ) We can offer an inspiring experience and high-quality growth opportunity in the creative culture industry as part of a team of brilliant performing artists: Dakars finest young talent in synergy with international guests from New York, Brazil, Japan, and Europe. We can cover expenses and provide meals. Direct contact with major venues and DK cultural institutions makes this a valuable networking opportunity for someone seeking a career in this field. Naturally, this is also an investment towards future editions of our festival. As our collaboration with Doudou NDiaye Rose continues to deepen, communications with him and his family will be a primary responsibility— Accordingly, we seek someone who fully appreciates him as a living human treasure (in UNESCOs words;), while representing the creative mission of Deggi Daaj International.
