Dear David, (son completing his tour in Afganistan) When you get home we will watch this movie. I have it on DVD.... Veterans of WWI were shot simply for demonstrating for $2500 promised them by the government... General Douglas MacArthur ordered it vis the president. To make matters even more clear.... horses used and trained in the war which could have been given to our indigenous peoples, to farmers, to civilians were also ordered destroyed. Its been years since Ive seen this-I own it on DVD. History books have tried to wipe it off-erase it.... It made international headlines--infuriating Americas allies and does have a good ending. This is the story of a few men---a true story of soldiers who gave up everything In Pursuit of Honor.
