Dear Debating Community. We would like to express our profound gratitude for your contributions and participation in the Inaugural Debate Open Challenge held on Saturday 30th of August 2014. We all share the success of this prestigious event. We shall always feel indebted to the support that we received from the local debating circuit, friends from South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, Tanzania, Swaziland, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana and so many beyond Africa. The first ever Open Challenge in Zimbabwe have come and gone and this is the time for us to redirect our focus to the second edition of this Open Challenge. The support presented showed that people have welcomed the idea and they are keen to see it grow and happen frequently hence the imminence of the second version. We want to guarantee you that the second edition will be much bigger and more interesting. There is always room for improvement and we concede to that hence we say the Open Challenge will never be the same. The Debating community owns this idea and the mandate lies upon us to see this cause being Championed. We would like to appreciate all those who sent feedback through various platforms we have created to ease communication. We will always be open to all kinds of communication for the sake of the game and we will treat all views objectively. To those who have not submitted their feedback, we earnestly encourage you to respond in time so that your feedback becomes the foundation of the Second and future versions of the Open Debate Challenge. We shall keep on distributing forms to the mailing lists that we are in possession of while the communication team is working on making the form available here on our page very soon in case we missed some e-mails. Debating community, brace yourself for the Second Edition and keep on debating were ever you are. Once again; Thank you so much for making Debate Open Challenge 1 A SUCCESS. Communications.
