Dear Dream Builders, Dreams dont have deadlines. Let me share with you one special lady - she used to be a University Dean. She is my book fan and now we are friends. She is reinventing herself at age 45! Her name is Bernadeth Cabico De Ocampo - newly married and creating a life of her dreams. After reading The Tale of Juliet - she actually ended up working in Yemen, the first country where I worked as an OFW and where I also met my darling husband. Badeth recently stood in front of over 500 people motivating them. Badeth aka Bernadeth and her husband Henry are going on a cruise, same cruise line I used for my first ever cruise - Royal Caribbean. The Power of a dream come true! I borrowed her FB post to share with you. REINVENTING MYSELF AT THE AGE OF 45! This was the title of my talk at the Asian Institute of Management last Tuesday. I have been wanting to write about it, but its only now that I get my heart and my hand together. It has been my dream to be a famous motivational speaker someday. I have always admired women of inspiration and substance like Ms. Juliet van Ruyven, who has written a book about her life - The Tale of Juliet - and has been touring around the globe to inspire and teach people that they have to power to change their lives! Last Tuesday was my first experience into fulfilling this dream. I stood in front of over 500 people, sharing to them how I got to succeed in what I do. The audience response was overwhelming... I said to myself that was just the beginning of something BIG! Yahoo! I am excited! All these because I decided to reinvent myself at midlife. smile emoticon I am excited for the future!
