Dear Facebook Friends...we are looking for another miracle. Last week we posted a pit mix-tiny chi pair and asked for your love and light and guess what...the pit mix was adopted outright and the chi is now safely under our protective wing. Both safe!! A double win!! Today we learned about this beauty. His name is Max. A homeless woman found him and has been trying to care for him. She works but has no home and lives off of her cart. While she is at work, he is tied to her cart in the shade with a bowl of water. He is skittish and shy but we think this is largely due to his circumstances. His current owner cannot afford to feed or care for him and is asking for help to find him a loving home. While homeless herself, she is selflessly thinking of the well being of this gentle dog knowing she cannot provide him the care he needs. We are working with a translator to learn more about his age, background, and other details...the most we know right now is that we see a dog in need. And saving dogs in need is just what we do. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. Please take the time to look into Maxs eyes. Who knows how much they have seen. Who knows how much he has endured. Maxs eyes are pleading with you, with us, to help him find his way into a safe loving home. Please help us help Max.
