Dear Facebook. Since you like to change things up all the time, how about doing something useful for a change? We know that you can scan for copyrighted content upon submission so how about this: When a post is made, scan the content or picture to see if it hits on one of the urban legend sites like snopes, urbanlegends.about, truthorfiction, scambusters.org, or even your own urban legend collection. I am sure each of those sites would gladly become a resource that you could easily build an API for. A simple dialog upon submission to warn the user that their post could be spreading useless crap and linking them to the source could drastically reduce the frivolous BS that plagues this and other social sites. The user can always opt out and continue their post. But, at least they would have been warned that they will look like an idiot for not researching what they posted first. Come on Facebook, be a trend setter here and do something positive for your community. ~ Buoy
