Dear Facebook friends, I wasnt certain of how appropriate this post ws, but decided it could be important. Just before Christmas I was diagnosed with Grade 2 breast cancer. Two rounds of surgery later....today we heard that it hasnt spread and with more treatment my survival rate is up there with the best. We are relieved and thankful. The cancer was only detected after a routine ultrasound which I delayed for years and then postponed 3 times after making the original appointment because I was busy! So....I thought Id share my experience to hopefully remind friends and family to make that call and get screened as soon as is indicated for your circumstances. It has saved my life for sure. Thanks to amazing support from friends and family (you know who you are) and especially you, Davog, you have been as pragmatic and loving as anyone could ever wish for x
