Dear Facebook friends an family: I went into Broad River - TopicsExpress

Dear Facebook friends an family: I went into Broad River Correctional Institution (BRCI) to begin a topical Bible Study. I will enter BRCI every Wednesday at 12 noon to conduct the Bible Study. Today I gave the ones who didnt already know me some background info about me. That way they would know that I could identify with them. Amen! We spent about two hours together talking about the Lord and where we were at in our lives. I feel like the Lord wants me back into prison ministry, although I wasnt sure I wanted to go back to Bible Study in the prisons. In a way, I felt like God was telling me that He had got me out of prison to send me back to prison. :-) I received confirmation today that I was where God wanted me to be. The men were introducing themselves to me, and saying a few words if they felt like it. An inmate named Andrew told me and the rest of the men around the table that when he was home he saw his mom and dad intently watching a video. He looked in to see what it was, and it was me giving my testimony. Obviously he was in the world and not into Christianity, so he ended up in prison. If I remember correctly, he was with a group of men who had just been transferred to BRCI. He saw a list that had been posted in the dorm about Ron Smart teaching a topical Bible Study starting Wednesday, November 12, 2014. TODAY!!! I wonder who was responsible for that? Thank you Jesus! He thought that was kind of too much of a coincidence to be a coincidence. :-) So he signed up for the Bible Study along with a lot of other men, Chaplain Brown only approved 18 of the men, and he did not approve those who were already committed Christians. He wanted me to have some men that needed to be exposed to the Lord Jesus Christ! Praise the Lord! And thats how Andrew got into the Bible Study that I will be teaching on LOVE from the Gospel of John. You cant get love any better than John 3:16. Amen! Andrew was definitely a confirmation that God wanted me back into prison ministry. Amen! I will also be going into Kirkland Correctional Institution (KCI) soon! Ive already been approved to have a pastoral visit with a young man who is in the last stages of cancer. Katy McCrudden asked me to visit him, and I told her that I would if they would let me. I put in for a Pastoral Visit today and they approved me to see this young man who is in the last stages of his life. His name is Michael, and I will be visiting him this Friday at KCI Infirmary from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. Praise the Lord! God bless all of you my dear Facebook friends and more! Me and Deborah love all of you with all of our hearts.
