Below youll find our latest schedule of classes for the upcoming 6 week term: Beginning Wednesday 3/5, ending Saturday 4/12. Classes, unless otherwise noted, are at 529 6th Avenue. Please reply with your class/time preference - if you have unused classes from a previous term, we can schedule your make-up class using the timetable below or use your unused classes as credit towards a new purchase. Payment is due via cash or check prior to start of the 1st class. Checks can be made out to So Social LLC. Purchases are subject to 7% tax. Let us know if you have any questions - were here to help! - tia & erin 2nd Winter Term Class Schedule Wednesday/Saturdays 10:00-11:30 AM So Social Pre-K - 90 minute class featuring a long form work period with Montessori materials, followed by a snack time for grace & courtesy lessons, then circle time with language objects, followed by craft time for sensorial opportunities, and finally play time for gross motor activities. Intended to help ease the transition from home to social settings, this Pre-K preparatory class helps children learn the routines and responsibilities of solo-schooling with the comfort of a loved one close by. Suitable for children aged 18-36+ months. $18 per class, 6 class sessions which never expire, are transferable, and include all family members (siblings of any age welcome). Fridays/Saturdays 9:15-10:00 AM So Social Baby - 45 minute class featuring parenting educational topics, such as Montessori methods, DIY materials, RIE communication strategies, how to setup a nursery, disposable vs cloth vs EC, and more, We finish the class with songs, lap bounces, finger-plays, bubbles, and lullabyes. Great class for expecting parents and families with children aged 0-12 months. $10 per class, 6 class sessions which never expire, and are transferable, and include all family members (we request that children who walk/run not attend this class for the comfort of other attendees, however, multiple non-mobile siblings are welcome). Wednesdays 9:00-9:45 AM So Social Montessori - 45 minute class featuring a specific Montessori material demonstration, followed by an opportunity for caregivers to present the material to their child and the child to explore it. We wrap up the class with songs, finger-plays, music instrument exploration, and bubble, tunnel, or parachute play. All ages are welcome, but material demonstration/use is suitable for children 18+ months. $15 per class, 6 class sessions which never expire, are transferable, and include all family members (siblings of any age welcome). ** Fridays 6:00-6:45 PM FREE So Social Family - 45 minute class featuring nursery rhymes, songs, lap bounces, finger plays, music instrument exploration, and parachute/bubble play. All ages.
