Dear Families, We know you have been on the edge of your seat, and the Spark Board apologizes for not having the energy to post to you last night! The Sunnyvale Board of Education voted unanimously in accordance with the Districts recommendation: Approval with Conditions. We will be working with the district in the coming weeks to come to agreement on those conditions. The BOE seems committed to ensuring that the district works collaboratively with us and our lawyer to come to a fair agreement. We will certainly keep you posted along the way. As you know, Spark has been subsisting financially on money earned from garage sales, restaurant fundraisers, and personal donations from our parents. We are grateful to all who have contributed financially so that we have the ability to consult our legal counsil when necessary. We will need additional guidance from our legal council during the conditions negotiation process. If you have not yet given and can afford to do so, your donation would be greatly appreciated! Every dollar counts, so no donation is too small.
