Dear Family and Friends, Its official, I am going 100% to become an OT. I have resigned from New Roots ( although I am still, and will always be, a Counselor :) I will take required prerequisite courses at a local community college here in Ithaca (TC3) to hopefully enter OT grad school no later than SY 2016/17 somewhere in the Ithaca area. Lanna and I will take a trip to Thailand from late October to late November. I will work part time doing whatever while I take all required prerequisite courses in anatomy etc. I am not only excited to take on this new challenge I am so happy and fortunate to be able to spend more time with Nip, Lanna, and you all (and do some needed house work!) during the beginning of this adventure. I have some great local and experienced mentors who are guiding me through this process (one of whom is my new yoga teacher) so I feel like I have arrived at a great time to make this career change. Supinda, my amazing mother-in-law will arrive late February, a few weeks before Nips due date. Happy, happy, happy-dont know what else to say! :)
