Dear Foss Harbor Residents, The City of Tacoma has recently notified Foss Harbor that the upcoming esplanade replacement project at the north end of the marina has been POSTPONED UNTIL SEPTEMBER 2014. All previous correspondence regarding temporary relocation of marina facilities and closure of parking areas should be disregarded. Additionally, any temporary slip arrangements made with the marina office will no longer be necessary, as there will be NO CONSTRUCTION-RELATED ACTIVITIES UNTIL SEPTEMBER 2014. The marina will begin communication with all impacted marina residents 60-90 days prior to the rescheduled project commencement date of September 1st, 2014. Any necessary temporary slip arrangements will be assigned on or around this same date. This notice does NOT impact the repair of the esplanade and seawall located by gates 7 and 8 at the south end of the marina. These repairs are still anticipated to begin in early to mid-December; the marina will provide ample notice of any relevant details to all impacted residents.
