Dear Frewsburg Central School District Board of Education Members: Why is everyone looking at the results of the Common Core Testing when they should be looking at the ASSESSMENTS.....???? There is not a shred of evidence that these standardized tests are actually designed to do what they claim to do: They claim to assess student achievement, yet they were shrouded in secrecy. They have NEVER been used or evaluated before. The ink was barely dry on them before they were administered. And they were administered before teachers were trained in the standards or students were educated to them. The tests are the failure. Not the students, teachers or the schools. There is a huge financial agenda attached to these assessments and the standards and people should be looking at who wrote both the standards and the assessments and who stands to make huge amounts of money from the results before they spend one more minute of time or cent of our money to continue responding to the results...!!!
