Dear Friend, About 30 years ago a non for profit organizations was founded in order to feed the needy Jewish families in Toronto called Maot Hittim. Today, Maot Hitim provides food and financial help to over 200 families during Passover and other Holidays. They also help many families during the year with emergency funds for various unexpected situations. All the recipients are always treated with dignity and the program is administered in a very discreet manner to avoid embarrassment. There are absolutely no overheads. 100% of every donated dollar goes toward the recipients. This program is only possible with donations from our community. So I am asking you to donate what you can. You can do this with either your time on Sunday, April 6th to help us deliver the food to these families, and/or a monetary donation of any amount. On April 5th, please join us at Magen David for our 3rd Annual Wine & Cheese tasting event where all proceeds will go to this cause - it would be great if you can join and spread the word to your friends.
