Dear Friends, A very happy INDEPENDENCE DAY to you all. 67 years ago, our tryst with destiny had just begun. As the World slept, exactly at this hour, it was our Nation that woke up to an era of freedom and democracy. As the President said yesterday, Freedom is a cause of celebration. Independence is a challenge. Decades down the line, youngsters like us should view our Nations problems as opportunities of ushering positive social change.As a group comprising only students, Making a Difference by Being the Difference (MAD) has done and will continue to do all it takes to awaken the people to realize their civic responsibilities while making all possible efforts towards infusing sense and vision in the Government machinery. In todays Independence Day Special Meeting, we shall wrap up the monumental task of segregating and arranging the close to 50,000 paper bags which we shall distribute in Sundays activity.
