Dear Friends & Family, Heres a short update on Blake. This past week Cindy and I met with the therapists and specialists who work with him on a daily basis. It was a very good meeting as Blake continues to show improvement in all areas including physically, cognitively, memory as well as in education. The improvement we are seeing comes slower than early on, but it is good improvement nonetheless! Blakes full restoration by Gods grace is being revealed each week and we are so thankful for each step forward. Blake continues to embrace each day and he loves talking and singing to anyone that will listen to him. Recently Blake has even been seen commandeering a Karaoke machine as well as joining in on some line dancing! Great therapy for all involved!!!! Today Blake was able to join a bunch of his school friends at a paintball birthday party for his friend Garand. It was cold and drizzly but Blake and his friends had a ton of fun. Blake still is not all that mobile (running, quickly kneeling or crawling on his stomach .... all the things needed on a paintball field) to go onto the course by himself so I (and his Uncle Todd at times) were his walking buddy and human shield. Blake took a couple of tumbles but they were controlled falls as we there near him and he also had a full helmet on during the competitions.
