Dear Friends, Family and Fairview Classmates, Hello to - TopicsExpress

Dear Friends, Family and Fairview Classmates, Hello to all! I hope this letter finds you in good spirits and health! First, I wanted the Classmates to know that an informal 35th Class Reunion is being talked about for next year. More details will be passed on as I hear more. I was wondering how many might be interested in this? Second, I am the Coordinator for Harvest for Hunger with my current employer. Ohio has lost $193 million in SNAP (formerly known as Food Stamps) this year and Harvest for Hunger provided $219 million in meals last year- 34% went to children programs. The Cleveland Food Bank is going to need to double their normal donations to help provide for the loss in the SNAP program. So I am asking my classmates and friends to help with donations or start a Harvest for Hunger food drive at their own businesses. For each $1 raised, The Cleveland Food Bank is able to provide 4 meals! That is huge for a family in need. We are doing numerous breakfast and luncheons in which the employees purchase to raise money. He have our first luncheon this Friday with a Grilled Cheese Lunch. We are planning bake sales- (Cheesecakes provided by Mark Bollinger of Marks Awesome Cheesecakes!), ice cream social- (Ice cream provided from Honey Hut), Ethnic lunch- (rigatoni being provided by my son and hopefully, a dish from King Wah), Pizza Day- (Marcos Pizza donation), Donut sale (Braden Sutph donation) and many more. We are doing penny wars and Harvest Holdem. There is also a March Madness bracket that CBS Sports have put together. I dont believe we will be doing the March Madness but I did ask if we could join The Cleveland Food Banks brackets. So please help with a donate or ask to do a fundraiser. Here is how you can help: Virtual Food Drive: shop online in the virtual pantry and make a donation directly using your credit card. Please visit clevelandfoodbank.org/Admiral to make your online donation in Admiral Products’ name. Thank you in advance for your commitment to the community this year. I am proud to be a part of this important annual fund raising event and I hope you will feel the same way too. Gratefully Yours, Sharon Minelli-Jablonski
