Dear Friends, I see many posts supporting Israels right to defend herself against the terrorist group Hamas. I wholeheartedly agree with you. It is very sad to see people from around the world condemning Israel for protecting herself. I ask them, what would you do if rockets were exploding around you? I know that you would say it is your right to defend yourself. Why do you not give that same right to Israel. If the United States had rockets falling on her, would our president and secretary of state still say it is a disgrace and that we would not defend ourselves, just let the rockets fall! What I do not see are posts of Outrage against the persecutions of Christians around the world, and especially, at this time, for those in the paths of the terrorists in Iraq. I ask all of you who are willing, please pray and fast (if you can) for these poor people. All people who are being persecuted. My requests: Please pray for the grace of God to envelope these people and give them the physical grace to be able to escape from this; emotional grace to stay stable in this, and most of all a strong faith so they do not renounce their Christian Faith. Now I have a question for us, me included. How would we be reacting if this was happening right now, here in the United States? Would we be strong enough not to denounce our Faith and God? Would we become so emotionally distraught as to be of no help to others. Here is a remedy in case this comes to America. Start preparing beforehand, not when it gets to our doors. I am talking about being prepared spiritually. The remedy is....Prayer....... sincere, from the heart prayer. Prayer for courage to not renounce our Faith, prayer for strength to be an anchor for our family, friends and neighbors, prayer for guidance to know what God may want you to do, prayer for guidance to know how to prepare physically. Unless we are prepared before, we may be useless after. The above are the nudgings of my heart. I know some will agree and some disagree. I understand and respect you for whatever you choose....to agree or disagree. God has given us free will and this is a time for you to use it. If you feel the urge to argue, I will not respond. That is not the reason I posted. God bless all of you. My prayers are with all of you also.
