Dear Friends: I want to take this opportunity to thank those who stopped by my going away party at Rocks in Lakeview this afternoon. People from various phases of my life were present; making it even more special. Words cannot express how overwhelmed I was by the kindness, love, and generosity. I cannot possibly describe in words what each of you means to me. How you have influenced me and touched my life. Because of our relationship, I am a better person. I also want to take this opportunity to thank the individuals that have taken the time to wish me well on my relocation to San Francisco. I have read each and every one of your comments and am touched by their warmth and love. Im often asked how do you feel about this move. Is it bittersweet? Friends, I cherish and value the experiences that are a part of my Chicago life, I will recall them fondly, but, Im looking forward with excitement to the next phase of my life. Im not looking back. Most important, Im doing this for me; both personally and professionally. With a lot of hard work and determination, Im going to succeed. Dont count me out! Tomorrow morning I depart for San Francisco at 8:45 a.m. Im looking forward to new experiences, meeting new people and forming relationships. A new career is on the horizon. Once again, thank you so much. I value each and every one of you with all my heart. One more item before I finish this post.
