Dear Friends, Stop the presses. Flash. News bulletin. Breaking news. In the world we are living dominated by a corporate media, the news that we consume happens so quickly that it affects our ability to slow down and analyze carefully what we are being told. Par example is the Bill Cosby controversy true? Is President Obama right on immigration? Will African Americans riot in Ferguson, Missouri following a controversial Grand Jury decision there? How is possible for the Reverend Al Sharpton not to be charged by the Internal Revenue Services for failing to pay federal income withholding taxes, according to the New York Times? These subjects alone, all deserve space and time, yet, today, I want to talk about a story that is not getting much attention and yet, in the bigger picture, it is far more important, than all of the aforementioned stories combined. It is the revelation that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have been posing as reporters for major newspapers and media outlets. Stop the presses. Flash. News bulletin. Breaking News. None of these get your attention procedures have been used in this story. Why? In fact, many of you reading this posting may not even have heard that the FBI have been impersonating journalists. FBI Director James Comey has admitted that this is true. The FBI Director admitted that they had an agent pose as an Associated Press reporter. If the FBI is doing it, what about the CIA, DIA, State Department and the National Security Agency? I remember all too well the infamous FBIs COINTELPRO program and how it was used against the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. , Malcolm X, NAACP, SCLC, CORE, PUSH, OIC, YWCA, and the entire Civil Rights and Peace Movements. The revelation and confirmation that an intelligence agency is impersonating a journalist have huge ramifications here at home and abroad. For those who may not see it, think about this way, suppose the agent is actually working for a news agency covertly, and the stories that you are reading, hearing and seeing is being slanted for some ominous reason that neither you nor that news agency is even aware of? Believe me you do not have to be a card- carrying and fully paid -up member of the American Civil Liberties Union to understand the threat that these tactics pose to civil liberties and civil rights. A media that is infiltrated by intelligence agencies should be our greatest fear. Why? Take a moment (slow down) and absorb this incredible quote from Malcolm X who said,: The media is the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and make the guilty innocent, and thats power. Because they control the mind of the masses. Now, think about Bill Cosby controversy, Michael Brown, Reverend Al Sharpton, President Obama, Ferguson, immigration and the news that you are consuming and remember the importance of reading, listening and seeing with the third eye. . Information is power. Justice is indivisible. Truth is revealing and freedom must never be abandon. A Luta Continua.
