The main locations covered in this trip includes Lava, Kolakham, Rishyap (the quaint village) and offcourse the richest biological zone of entire north-east Neora valley national park; birders paradise since some of the Indias most sought after birds are found here. It was a week long birding trip which started from NJP and the participants include Sanjib Banerjee da, Suman Datta, Arpan Saha , Arijit Das and myself. The overall weather condition was excellent though we experienced cloud with patchy drizzle for a short duration. It was a memorable trip from all aspects as a total of 97 confirmed species were recorded including a number of globally threatened and rare species in India... The itinerary mentioned below: In the morning of 13/Apr/2014 As per our plan, I rendezvoused with other fellow birders at NJP station to kick start a hopefully glorious birding trip..
