Dear Friends, Whilst perusing the Coolerator this morning, looking for the liquid courage that helps me combat my Irish Trembles, it occurred to me that none of you know about the upcoming Devil Shakes soirée. Once again, Peris Bar in Fairfax has graciously granted us access to their establishment, more particularly their stage, where we will attempt to rawk dafuqout all the live-long night. I say attempt, because last time Im not quite sure if we succeeded or not. That evening has long since shrunk to the tiniest of little dots in my rearview mirror, but I seem to remember getting about 2.5 sets into a 3 set night before succumbing once again to my Irish Trembles. My trusty compatriots in The Shakes assure me that all went as planned, but... Well, when I woke up the next day, I was wearing Depends, an eye patch, and a nice pair of royal blue Bangkok hostess pumps. Perhaps that is what they meant by as planned? In any case, I encourage you to come down to Peris in Fairfax on Saturday April 26th, if only to save me from my friends.
