Dear Friends Yesterday, I congratulated Premier Helen Zille and the #DA for obtaining the Spy Tapes. Their action and the final handover by the #Zuma administration is a victory for accountability and the rule of law. groundup.org.za/article/premier-zille-wrong-–-again_2207 I wanted to post this article critical of #Zilles #HIV outbursts when it was published yesterday but thought it important not to mess with celebrations. Professor Francois Venter one of the best HIV clinicians in our country correctly takes Premier Zille to task for scientific ignorance; melodramatic moralising; unsound economics and callous prejudice disguised as common sensefor trying to criminalise HIV. Venter uses science, medicine and epidemiology to show what a danger uninformed politicians represent to our rights to life, dignity and health. Back to the Spy Tapes.
