Dear Friends and Family, Back in the early 90s, I lost my good friend (and amazing guitar player) Al Hagen of New Ulm to cancer. Over the years, many friends and acquaintances have been taken too soon. In 2009, I lost the best mother-in-law on earth...ever...not even close. I miss Darlene a lot, and I am angry and disappointed that cancer was allowed to take her from our family gatherings for the rest of my life. As I type this email, a good friend of mine is in the fight of her life against this disgusting disease. THIS IS WHY I RELAY. It is frustrating to feel so helpless as year after year I see good people struggle with the fight against cancer. There is one thing, however, I can do to help. I volunteer many hours per year to help fight for a cure. Our 2013 Relay For Life event is this Friday in Tyler. If you can find a small or large amount to donate, it would be greatly appreciated.
