Dear Friends and Supporters: On behalf of Project Walk - TopicsExpress

Dear Friends and Supporters: On behalf of Project Walk Atlanta, a non-profit organization, I would like to personally thank you for your ongoing support to improve the lives of individuals living with a Spinal Cord Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injury, or other neurological conditions. Your support of our recovery center is greatly appreciated by the staff, clients, and families associated with Project Walk Atlanta. Project Walk Atlanta was founded in 2011 after my 18 year old son, Chris, was injured in an automobile collision and sustained a spinal cord injury, which left him paralyzed from the neck down. After searching for recovery options, God placed it on our heart to bring this life-changing Intense Activity Based Therapy to the greater Atlanta area. Since opening our doors in March of 2012, we have been able to provide recovery options to victims of spinal cord injury and other neurological condition from 26 states and 5 countries thus far. Our program encompasses the elements of nutrition, metabolic support and brain plasticity to help increase the probability of recovery in clients participating in our Intense Activity Based Recovery Program. Because of supporters like you, we are able to have access to some of the best recovery equipment in the world to help our clients on their road to recovery. Your funds also help provide this unique therapy to individuals who otherwise could not afford to participate in our program, since it is unfortunately not covered by insurance. To date, we have been able to scholarship approximately $38,400 in therapy hours in 2014, and nearly $100,000 since opening in 2012. Visit our website at projectwalkatlanta.org or check us out on Facebook and Project Walk Atlanta YouTube Channel , for pictures and videos of all the progress our clients are making. It is because of donors like you that many of our clients are able to come and utilize our facility; thank you for giving them this opportunity. Please, feel free to forward this onto your friends. Sincerely, Paul Pickard Executive Director [email protected]
