Dear Friends and the Umberto’s Restaurant Family: Thank you so - TopicsExpress

Dear Friends and the Umberto’s Restaurant Family: Thank you so much for all the outpouring of love and support during a very difficult time in the Fabbri family. Silvio’s untimely passing left me unsure if re-opening was going to be an option for me, however, after reading all the heartfelt posts and messages on Facebook, not to mention your very generous donations, I knew it was something I needed to do. I have read each and every message and card and your continuing love, support and kindness continues to sustain me and my family through this very difficult time in our lives. Along with the continued support of the family; Michele, Lucia and Tony, who have worked tirelessly for many years, my son, Anthony has now joined us to insure that we will do our best to remain the staple that we have been for the past 24 years. Though Silvio’s shoes will be difficult to fill, we will do our best. Umberto’s was his life and his customers and the friends he made were his great love. Our loss was your loss as ell. From our Fair Haven family to our friends from neighboring towns ... we will all miss him terribly but as we all know too well, life goes on. Silvio would want it that way. I loved Silvio and I miss him every day. There are good days and bad, but seeing you all continues to stop in, always makes the bad ones better. Your memories of Silvio and your stories sustain me and are not only a great comfort but a constant reminder that not only did Silvio touch so many of your lives, but that he will never be forgotten thanks to you. A final thank you to the first responders and FHPD for your continued support and strength during this difficult time; and to the FHFD who with great pride, lit up their sign in a tribute to Silvio. For easing our pain and helping us through we thank you. Much love, Maryrose, Anthony and the entire Fabbri family
