Dear Friends in the Martial Arts, I have been the owner, - TopicsExpress

Dear Friends in the Martial Arts, I have been the owner, director, and head instructor of the world-renowned Princeton Academy of Martial Arts for 27 years. Over the years we at PAMA have set the Gold Standard for excellence in all areas of teaching and training the martial arts, and we have never compromised on this standard of excellence. The love of true quality Martial Arts and philosophy have always been the driving force for me. I have had the honor and pleasure of training privately with some of the greatest martial artists of the 20th century. The time, travel, effort and money I spent on training with these excellent instructors contributed greatly toward my skills and personal development. However, the main reason for this training was to share these arts with others while maintaining the integrity and quality of these arts. We at PAMA and I personally have had the good fortune of having some of the nicest, thoughtful, interesting, and talented students and supporters that we could ask for. NOW it is with great pride that I announce the transition of ownership of PAMA to my long time student, lead instructor, and friend Michael Lee. Some of you may already know Michael as a leader here at PAMA. He has been training under my tutelage for 20 years and throughout that time has shown great drive, love and determination to excel in every aspect of these arts. He has attended many camps, seminars and private sessions throughout the US and Europe to advance his knowledge and skills. Michael as owner and leader of PAMA will maintain the same high quality and excellence that you have all come to know at PAMA. This transition will take place over the next several months and will be finalized by February. As for myself, after a planned travel sabbatical with my family, I will be involved in several other exciting creative martial arts projects. My teaching, workshops, and seminars will be focused on helping more advanced martial arts practitioners optimize their practice and performance in the arts of JKD, Kali, Silat and Muay Thai. Over the years I have seen many good practitioners just stall or stagnate after a certain level of proficiency, not knowing how to improve, or if it is even possible for them to improve. My focus will be to help those instructors and students truly integrate the art, science, and philosophy of martial arts into a synergistic whole that will improve their practice as well as their everyday lives. If you have an interest in optimizing your practice, fine tuning your physical and mental skills, and delving deeper into the philosophies I can be reached through ricktucci Yours in the martial arts, Rick Tucci
