Dear Friends, it is time for an update on Whats up with Bill and Marla these days? Today is our 13th day in Boston. We have met dozens and dozens of sweet people in our new church (cornerstoneboston.org), and I preached my first sermon yesterday on Finding Holy Calling. We have reviewed hundreds of home listings, we spent two days driving all over Boston to Open Houses, we have visited a score or so houses with our real estate agent, and we put offers on three different homes. Oh yeah, and I have taken dozens of wrong turns on Boston streets - good thing GPS automatically reroutes! But guess what? We now have a purchase agreement on a house in Boston. As a result of so many people praying for us, in all the craziness of the housing market here, on Saturday night our offer was accepted for a three bedroom house/condo just outside the city proper. It still has to pass inspection and all those kinds of details, but we are pretty sure God has answered that prayer for us. Thank you for praying.
