Dear Friends….my little family, the only one I ever knew, has fallen on some hard times…Three days ago the best of us three, i.e. my dad, Vasile Bota, was diagnosed with brain tumours. He has however, already commenced a journey which we hope will bring him back to full health… In a few days he will undergo a biopsy and the results will indicate the most appropriate therapy to follow. Dad knows this will be a difficult journey but unsurprisingly he is just ready and determined to take it on. A small but great team of young doctors is helping him to get started. To those of you who met him along the years and remember and admire him for his wonderful self, his immense dose of common sense, his warmth, his wisdom and of course his unforgettable green eyes please take a moment and send him an encouraging thought. I plan to read them to him before he begins the next phase of this difficult journey. He is my best friend and I know he needs all the support my other friends can give him. I do wish you all get to meet him again and again in the future. His spirit and presence will enrich you. Actually if most people would meet my dad this would be a better place, peace and harmony would surround us and probably even global warming would cease being an issue… :) Please come join me and my mum and our extended family in wishing him a speedy recovery… I do thank you very very much… Your friend, Tavi --- Dragi Prieteni…. mica mea familie, singura pe care am cunoscut-o vreodata trece printr-un moment dificil….Cu trei zile in urma cel mai bun dintre noi trei, adica tatal meu, Vasile Bota, a fost diagnosticat cu tumori cerebrale. A inceput insa deja o cale care speram sa-l conduca inapoi catre sanatate deplina… In cateva zile va fi supus unei biopsii ale carei rezultate vor indica cel mai potrivit tratament. Tata stie ca va fi o cale dificila insa nu este o supriza ca e pregatit sa o infrunte. O mica dar grozava echipa de tineri doctori il ajuta sa o inceapa. Pentru aceia dintre voi care l-au intalnit de-a lungul anilor si care vi-l amintiti si admirati pentru personalitatea sa deosebita, pentru imansa sa doza de bun simt, pentru caldura si intelepciunea sa si bineinteles pentru ochii sai verzi, de neuitat, va rog sa folositi aceeasta ocazie si sa-i transmiteti un mesaj de incurajare sau un gand bun. Imi propun sa-i citesc mesajele in pregatirea intrarii sale in urmatoarea faza a acestei dificile calatorii. El imi este cel mai bun prieten si stiu ca are nevoie de sprijinul tuturor celorlalti prieteni ai mei. Sper ca toti sa il intalniti sau reintalniti de cat mai multe ori in viitor. Spiritul si prezenta sa va vor imbogatii. De fapt, daca majoritatea oamenilor l-ar intalni pe tatal meu lumea aceasta ar fi o lume mai buna, pacea si armonia ne-ar inconjura si probabil chiar si incalzirea globala nu ar mai fi o problema… :) Va rog alaturati-va mie si mamei mele precum si familiei noastre extinse in dorinta noastra sa isi recapete sanatatea… Va multumesc foarte foarte mult… Prietenul tau, Tavi
