Dear God,am always negative.I dont see the rose bush,all i see r the thorns.I never askwhy not?often i askwhy should i?i dont see the opportunity;i only see the risk.whem am about to breath the fresh air oflet me give it a short.maybe i can pull it offsuddenly the whiner in me blows hot air about howit cant be done-ad better not try.The next thin i know,the whole atmosphere is stale n stuffy.I am among the vast majority who want to live small,neat,safe lives.am reluctant to explore new territories of Gods plan.in the Bible,out of the 12 men who went to explore caanan,majority came back with negative reports.we better sit tight,we cant attack,we r so small in comparison,we r like grasshoppers.it was one man Caleb who said we should go n take the land 4 we can certainly do it.I think of my self as agrasshopper,so i tend to act like one.I might gem airbone every now n then,but i spend most of the time hopping in the dirt.Grasshopper thinking stems from agrasshopper faithin a tiny grasshopper god.Trust in God can turnterror-tories of fear to territories of promise. What kind of challenges r we facing this week?what r some of the place we r afraid to explore today coz of a grasshopper mind-set?whats our 1st response?i cant,id better not,i dont want to make a fool of myself.God promises to strengthen those who r willing to meet challenges that please him(psalms 112:8). Lord ,help me to take risks n embrace new adventures this new month,coz i know u r with me wherever i go.Give me optitism about what you can do in my life,and save me from the whines n whimpers of grasshopper mind-set.I WANT TO BE A WINNER AND NOT A WHINER.
