Dear Governor, Im not here to start a fight, nor am I here to try and cause drama. I just want to state a few thoughts, as I can not just buy a plane ticket to Nashville and visit you personally. We must progress as a whole, united. The Human Race. If you want to pass a Bill that allows students to bully other students who are LGBT, based on religious freedom, how are we to progress? Bin Ladens followers kill in the name of religion, and this Bill would be just the beginning of it. Are you to sit here and tell me, that were not following the same path as the people our Government calls terrorists? We are starting to do the exact same thing. You probably wont listen to me because Im just some Nineteen year old kid but believe me. We will not, and can not progress as a Nation if people like you keep allowing shit like this. There is supposed to be a separation of Church and State. LGBT community has nothing to do with the Christian Churches. Were not threatening your religion and if youre doing this for religious freedom, what sort of freedom are you getting at? The freedom to bully and abuse people whom you are not comfortable being around? The freedom to murder? I mean..Im just saying, You have absolutely no right to allow people to get away with abusing and bullying anyone, not just the LGBT community, but ANYONE. We dont wish it on you or anyone else, we have not harmed you in any way. So why would you try and start a war between the LGBT community and Tennessee, and dont say thats not what youre trying to do - because that is exactly what you ARE doing. Your bill will cause problems regarding the rights of the LGBT community. If you dont want us to have special rights (Even though were not asking for Special rights, were asking for human rights), then dont give special rights to people and hide behind the bullshit you call religious freedom. Look, I understand that youre scared. Scared that your little world that you hide yourself in is changing, but passing a bill to allow bullying of kids just because you dont agree with it, is not the way to go. If you got to the end of this little...rant, speech. Whatever you wish to call it. Then kudos on actually listening to what I have to say. If you just ignored this whole thing, then youre just..well, an asshole.
