Dear Heather Sullivan, i send this text to the four big German television transmitter RTL, Pro 7; SAT 1,VOX and to Martin Rütter (German Version of Cesar Millan) to bring the story of the Sochi pups in the German News Magazine. RTL and SAT 1 answered me very fast, they will proof it. I hope the german people can on this way see, how beautiful adopt dogs are and how greatful the rescue from Robin and Gus was. I hope thats okay and in the mind from Robin and Gus. Please send them a copy of the mail. Is Nika okay ? Shes such a cute :-)). Please excuse my bad english. Dear Sir, dear Madam, during the olympic games, which were very contested under the animals lover, because o lot of stray dogs must die, the silver medallist slopesskiier Gus Kenworthy took the dicision to adope a stray dog mum and her 4 pups. In German the news magazine “ RTL-Aktuell” send a little story about this. I saw the story and found it so good, that i investigate into the internet and the social media “Facebook and Twitter”. What I saw, was a very great, selfless and difficult pet-rescue from two American/Canadian guys. Gus Kenworthy must leave Sochi after the games, but his friend, the photographer Robin Macdonald agreed to stay on in Russia to do the paperwork and bring the dogs to the USA. They exepted this takes two or three days, but it takes four weeks under difficult and hard requirement. He encountered bad governments roadblocks, one puppy was stolen, they took the other pupps and the dog mum from him and he was unable to get the dogs the medical treatment they need. So one of the puppies died in sochi. Only the Human Society of USA tried to help as much as she can. But Robin Macdonald never give up and so he brought the mum, two of her pups and two other pups to the USA. Sadly one pups died two days after the arriving in USA. In the USA an the social networks they were very prominent. In German only a lot of people knows this beautiful story. The Situation of the stray dogs in Russia and the other Baltic countries is miserable. In Romania the ASPA attack a private shelter and kill the dogs. The public shelters are overstuff, the killing begins. A report in your program can intent of this situation and many people inspire to adope a dog. Additional to all what he had done, Robin Macdonald contributed the money from the publications of the sochi-dogs in spay and neuter programs. I think, that all of this the german people shall know.
