Dear .........., I recently came across a story of a 3 year old boy Maxim, from Volovets, Ukraine, who is in need of brain surgery. He has been suffering from his condition for the past year. After Ukrainian doctors were unsuccessful in treating him, his parents reached out to European medical community and doctors in France offered to take on a case. I started a FB page for him yesterday, and set up a fundraising account. I would like to request a prayer. I know that God has his hand in this. He made provisions for this little boy and connected him with doctors from another part of the world who gave him hope. And through series of events over the past few weeks,made me aware of this story and touched my heart. This resonates with me especially because I was born and raised in the same region of Ukraine, and last year gave birth to a baby boy with a Cleft Palate. I am fortunate to live in United States where my son has been provided with the best of care. Maxim, however does not have the same privilege. Please, pray with me that this journey is the one of victory and will not only end up in healing of this little boy, but will also be the beginning of relationship that will break down the barriers, brings communities together and serves as an open road for other children of impoverished areas of the world to have a fair chance in receiving medical care that they need.
