Dear IGSAers: even if your budget doesnt allow you to contribute, definitely feel invited to attend this event this Sunday! :-) Please join us at the 8th annual Sahaya Walks (sahayawalks); Sunday, October 12, 2014 – 1 to 4 p.m at International House Davis/ Celebrate that we can make a difference in the lives of orphans and vulnerable children infected by HIV in India. Participants of all ages - young and old- are welcome! A pre-event potluck (optional) is from 1 to 2 pm, while the event itself starts at 2 pm with an opening ceremony with Indian cultural performances. We also do a 10-minute walk, have snacks and lemonade, enjoy games, activities and music, and share our hopes for an AIDS-free future. Come celebrate that – YES- we can make a difference! All proceeds go to Sahaya’s programs that provide health and a future to many HIV-infected children in India. Thanks to our previous events, we have not lost a child because of AIDS for more than 8 years. Even if you cannot attend, you can still make a difference!
