Dear Kenyans, PLEASE ponder this: Sadly, we are most critical, - TopicsExpress

Dear Kenyans, PLEASE ponder this: Sadly, we are most critical, harshest and judgmental in areas of life we are most guilty ourselves. The velocity of our harsh comments towards others only serves to show the depth of our guilt and transgression. Isnt it a wonder that the Holy Scriptures teach that ...he who is forgiven much, forgives much?.... As we analyze and interrogate the conduct of the Government of Kenya, the Kenya Police and the Kenya Defence Forces post Westgate, lets not forget to really ask these other critical questions: Are we really angry because the Powers that be are withholding critical information from the media and public or is our anger a symptom of something else? Are we for the bad guys or for Country and the victims of terror? Are we, the critics, the change we want to see in others? Have we removed the logs in our own eyes first so we can see the speck in the eyes of others? Post Operation Linda Nchi whats so drastically different now about the KDF that has suddenly rendered our heroes of yesterday, villains today? Are the operational blemishes, IF indeed they were, during the Westgate siege unique to Kenya or has this happened elsewhere in the world? And how did others deal with and address their costly blunders? Germany? Israel? France? Britain? Russia? The U.S of A? .... For the record, NO ONE is above the law and those shops at Westgate Mall DID NOT loot themselves and those responsibly, even if a few weeks ago they were our national heroes, MUST be held to account by all means! Kenya must also begin in earnest to interrogate journalism trends in our nation because a lot of what the people of this nation know today, the tv stations and newspapers, joyfully reported as fact and truth and we must accept that they are a huge part of the problem. Their own analysts, sources and experts leave so much to be desired yet they continue to form a huge basis of opinion and reporting of news! The Truth must come out, and speedily as well, BUT we must do away with this mob justice mentality and demonizing of people and institutions that serve our great country because to err is human and I would like for the one without sin to be the first to cast the stone of execution. I advocate for truth, sobriety, love, patience and above all, unwavering patriotism for our Country and Security Agencies. They MAY have failed at Westgate but I know they succeeded many other times and no one praised them for it. Im a witness to that ...... Enough said - shabbat shalom Kenya!
